Lucky Mutts Rescue co-organized the Blackland Prairie Festival in Lund, Texas that was held on Saturday May 10, 2008:
featuring "March for the Mutts". We and the participants had a great time! We look forward to a bigger event next year! The vaccination clinic and free sessions with generous trainers went extremely well!
Thank you to Animal Trustees of Austin,
the trainers from Lee Mannix Center for Canine Behavior, and Christina, an excellent canine massage therapist of
Skillful Paws!
.
We also welcome donations for all of our dogs. Butter is entering the Prison Dog Program! Congratulations Butter!
Missy is doing well after surgery and is much more comfortable. Dime sized bone chips were removed from her hips. We still need $300 to help cover her surgey. See her bio on the "Mutts" page to see how she is doing!
If you donate to a specific dog and they have been completely funded, we will use your donation for another dogs' needs. Since we have no office, kennel, or paid personnel, our overhead is small,
so all the money goes to the dogs!

Our dog(s) of the month ARE the Beatle Pups!! Go crazy! It is the Beatles! They are back! These are socially well adjusted 3-4 month old beautiful merle puppies!
The four brothers were found dumped on the side of the road and we could not just drive by!
See more pictures of the Beatle pups: McCartney, Lennon, Ringo Starr and Harrison.

Dogs
feel very strongly that they should always go with you in
the car, in case the need should arise for them to bark violently
at nothing right in your ear.
