Our adoption fee is $150.00 for adult dogs and $200.00 for puppies (under 6 months). Before adoption, all of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and have been living with a foster learning basic training such as house/crate training, sit, etc. Lucky Mutts requires all adopters to complete a basic obedience class with their new dog at a Lucky Mutt approved training facility.
Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a home check.
After you are approved and if we think it’s a match, we’ll arrange a week trial visit.

Things to think about….
Are you looking for a puppy or an older dog? Older dogs are usually housebroken and already trained. Puppies can grow up with another pet and make an easier transition for dog/cat households.
How active are you? Do you want a dog who can be a jogging buddy or one who will be your couch buddy?
Are you prepared for the responsibility? Who will take care of your dog when you have to go out of town? What happens if you have to move? Dogs are lifetime companions and they aren’t always convenient, but we owe it to them to treat them with respect.
Can you afford vet care? Dogs need monthly heartworm pills, flea preventative and food.
