Meet Gary. He is just the cutest little guy and is absolutely the perfect size. Gary is a 16lb, 3 year old Terrier mix. Gary loves to go on walks and car rides. His favorite way to pass the time, besides napping, is to play fetch. Gary loves to cuddle with his person. Gary loves other dogs and would do best being placed with another dog to play and hang out with. Gary would love to go on hikes, camping, all of those fun outdoor activities when it is cool enough. He is a happy boy and very smart. Gary would do best in a home with children over 12 years old. We think he may be part Schnauzer and have discovered, as Schnauzers are known for, he has some resource guarding issues, but he is working on them with a professional behaviorist. Gary is crate trained and house trained. Gary does not do well with cats - way too interested in barking at them. Gary is full vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. You will fall in love with Gary when you meet him. We are looking for a foster, or adopter or foster-to-adopt is a good way to get to know him a little bit first.
