Meet Lucy and Ethel Lucy and Ethel are 8 year old, 50lb Terrier Pointer mixes. They came to Lizzy’s with a prognosis of aggressive cancer, that they have maybe a year to live. We trust the shelter’s diagnosis and prognosis, which is why we got them out of the shelter to live their lives in a home environment, instead of a shelter. Lucy and Ethel are happy, active pups, fun pups. Lucy and Ethel are crate trained and house trained. They walk great on leash, but we would not recommend that someone walk them both at the same time. We are hopeful that there may be a person, couple, or family that would be interested in fostering these sweet pups. Typically, people foster/adopt the dogs forthemselves. This is a request for the dogs’ sake. Providing them with love, attention, and a nice fluffy bed to hang out and nap on is not asking a lot, but asking someone to take two dogs together is, and we understand it is a big ask, but we won’t know if we don’t ask. You will fall in love with Lucy and Ethel when you meet them. We are looking for a foster or forever family for Lucy and Ethel. Foster to adopt is a good way to get to learn about these two Email us with questions at lizzyshospice@gmail.com.
