Meet Penny. She is a 32lb, one year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. This bundle of joy and energy is looking for a family that is active, and that is interested in a dog that is active and smart. A family with kids in a lot of sports evenings and weekend, after working a 40 hour week is not the best home for Penny. She walks great on leash and loves car rides. Penny is fully vaccinated and has been spayed. Penny is dog friendly, cat friendly, and kid friendly. She loves to snuggle on the couch as much as she loves to go for walks or run around the backyard playing. She is an expert at food puzzles and they keep her occupied and her brain active. Penny walks great onleash, knows some basic tricks, like sit, and would love to learn more tricks like stay, lay down, retrieve, etc…. Penny is both house trained and crate trained. She takes treats very gently and loves to get pets and praise. Since she is only a year, until Penny is used to her new home, it is best to keep her crated if left alone for any amount of time. She will also need to be monitored when out of her crate because she is like a baby – everything is a toy and goes into her mouth… After all she is only one year old.
