Star is a 9 year old, 70lb female Catahoula/Pyrenees mix. Star is spay, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and house trained. She loves to hang out with other dogs. She is very shy dog with people considering she came from an abusive home. She has skin issues due to the neglect that medicated shampoo has helped a lot and her skin and coat are much better. With her age and size, she does have arthritis and is on glucosamine chondroitin. If you are a patient and caring person, and will let Star relax and get used to you in her own time (maybe a week maybe a month or longer), you will find you have a spectacular dog. Star just needs to know she is safe and loved. Star and Abbie came to Lizzy’s together. They told us they would prefer to be placed together, but is not necessary.
