| The Adorable | | My name is Kelly. I found my way to Lucky Mutts because a caring neighbor took me away from an abusive owner who threw me over an 8' fence breaking my leg. Amazingly I still love people and I'm very playful and affectionate. I get along fine with cats and likely will be great with other dogs too. I am only four months old and appear to be a Lab mix puppy. I'm very calm and well-mannered, but my pictures simply don't do me justice. I am very good about sleeping in my crate at night and when my foster mom runs errands. I love to be with my people, so even though I have a cast (which will come off in a month) on my front right leg, I will follow you around and give you kisses. I have been given my first round of shots, dewormed, and treated for fleas. I am about 40 pounds and simply the cutest, sweetest, cuddliest girl you'll meet. I will make a fantastic companion for a wonderful family. | | Lab Mix, spayed female, 37lbs | | |

| Calm Older Gentleman Looking for a Place to Retire | | UPDATE: Teddy is a very sweet, senior Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. He is great with other dogs and fairly playful for his age, considering his hip dysplasia. He loves stuffed toys. He's totally house trained and has good manners at feeding time; he has a great appetite, as you can see from his pictures! He wants to be by your side. Even though he's got hip dysplasia, he gets up and follows his foster mom wherever she goes. He's good on a leash, just a little tug when he has to wander to initiate a bush. He currently lives with a rambunctious 1 year old dog that harasses him pretty continuously, and he takes it all in stride. He also lives peacefully with a 12 year old male dog.
Teddy is looking for a home to live out his remaining years with the comfort and love this sweet dog deserves. He will always be on medication for his hip dysplasia, but he has a lot of love to give to some lucky family! | | Chesapeak Bay Retriever Mix, neutered male, 90lbs

| Dumped from a Car | | Bree was dumped on a local highway. Her injuries indicate she was thrown from a vehicle. She was just missed by several cars before a rescuer picked her up from the highway, just avoiding an accident. Bree is a strong little pup. Her injuries are superficial and already she is wagging her tail and looking for fun. She was covered in fleas, indicating she wasn't cared for apart from her mother who kept her healthy. She is in otherwise excellent health with bright eyes and clean ears.
It is difficult to tell her exact breed mix or eventual size. Our best guess is there is definitely some blue heeler in her and she may be medium size upon full growth (30 to 50 lbs). She is defnitely only 6 to 8 weeks of age as of March 10, 2009. She will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption. She does fine wiht other dogs and cats and doesn't mind a toddler. | | Heeler mix, spayed female, 5lbs, Sweet and Personable

| This pretty girl has so much character & charm! | |
Daisy is loyal, cuddly, sturdy, and smart! She’s already graduated from basic obedience with Lee Mannix. She’s housebroken and has been introduced to agility. Daisy would love to model for you. She’ll put on anything from a cute collar, her santa’s helper hat, or show off the sporty side in her all star dog pink hoodie or her UT collar. As soon as she’s dressed she heads to the front door so she can show the world how adoreable she is. She loves to show off her new toys too. She carries them around prancing with high steps & tosses her toys around just as cute as can be. She just loves to clowning around in the typical boxer style. Daisy gets along well with children and loves her canine buddy Harley. She thinks cats are fun to chase & might be good to taste so she needs to be in a cat free home. Come check her out at one of our meet & greets so you can see just how affectionate this lovely lady is. She’s sure to charm your socks off!

| Adopt The Amazing Flying Hooper! | |
Hooper is the name, play is the game. The boy loves to run, loves water, car rides and being
an affectionate, faithful companion. You know the type...they put their head in your lap and
gaze up at you with big, beautiful brown eyes.
Hooper comes with his own clown makeup but he's missing his clown shoes. We're
guessing this entertaining goofball possibly escaped from a traveling circus. After carefully
evaluating what type of shoes he'd like to fill next, we've agreed he might also like being an
outdoor adventure buddy or personal trainer along with retaining his clown skills. It's good to
have more than one career goal, after all.
Though he gets along with his 6 canine foster siblings, he deserves a home where he is the
one and only. Who wants to compete with so much personality anyway? He has assured us
that he would love a home with cats but we think he is winking and would be a little too
playful for a feline sibling.
Hooper is looking for someone who can appreciate and participate in an active lifestyle
followed by some downtime, snuggling together on the couch (or dogbed, your choice). This
fella likes to please his person. Like any scholar and athlete, he craves the thrill of learning
something new, running a new field. Lately, he's shown great interest in agility.
The adoption fee for this handsome specimen is applied to an Adult Basics Home Manners
and Obedience Course with the Lee Mannix Center for Canine Behavior. www.lmccb.com.
Adoption is finalized upon satisfactory completion of this course.
If you like to run, swim, jump, snuggle, play ball/stick, please submit your interest to
Hooper's attention at lynnebert_P@yahoo.com. She will provide further info, and if it looks
like a potential match, can arrange that you meet The Amazing Flying Hooper.
Stats: He is approximately 18 months old, 60lbs, neutered, UTD on all shots, heartworm
free (on monthly prevention), crate trained, leash trained, housebroken, etc.

| | | Clover, a young pup herself, is the mother of seven puppies surrendered to TLAC. She has been an outstanding mother to her puppies, but is ready to be the center of attention. She loves to play with other dogs and will be easy to train once she has settled in a little more and doesn't have her pups to contend with. She is a little on the skinny side from providing for her puppies, so she should gain a few more pounds.
Check out Clover and her pups very own webpage for more information about them at https://webspace.utexas.edu/weho/www/clover/ | | cattle dog mix, spayed female, 32lbs | | | For more information about Clover contact: info@luckymutts.com
